This Privacy Policy explains how lezrn ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our AI-powered learning application.

Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials.

Study materials. Documents, links, and other content you upload are stored so we can generate lessons, quizzes, and other study tools from them.

Usage analytics. We collect information about how you use the app (pages visited, features used, learning progress) to improve the product.

Cookies, Analytics and Advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, understand how the app is used, and measure our ads. Our product analytics provider (PostHog) records usage events and may record sessions, with everything you type in form fields masked.

We advertise on other sites, including Google. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to show our ads based on your past visits to lezrn and to tell us when an ad led to a signup or a subscription. When you sign in, a one-way hashed version of your email may be shared with Google to match that conversion to an ad. The Whop pixel does the same for ads we run through Whop.

You can opt out of personalized advertising from Google at adssettings.google.com and from many other vendors at optout.aboutads.info. Google's advertising cookies are off by default for visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve the service: generating study content, tracking your learning progress, personalizing your experience, and communicating with you about your account.

AI Processing

Content you submit (prompts, uploaded study materials) is processed by third-party AI model providers to generate lessons, explanations, and other study tools. We only share what is necessary to provide the service.

Payments

Payments and subscriptions are processed by Whop. We do not store your payment card details; billing information is handled by Whop under its own privacy policy.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us operate the app (hosting, AI model providers, payment processing, analytics and ad measurement), or when required by law.

Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
